What is a Penalty?

A Penalty may be levied by a Utility against a Contractor should any Instruction fail. The Penalty terms and conditions will be negotiated between the Utility and the Contractor. 

Penalties are not imperative. As with Rates, there is a list of Penalty tables, which is known as a Penalty Group. Each Item in the Penalty Group relates to a specific Instruction type, which is known as a Penalty Group Item. 

When configuring the Penalty Group Item there are two types of Penalty Strategies. For each Group Item, a Penalty Strategy needs to be selected.
