Zones
The purpose of Zones is to geographically group Instructions for process optimization and ease of management.
A Zone is a designated area within which Devices are installed. Zones are set up by the Field Manager Administrator and are used within the context of Scheduling or manual creation of Instructions.
When setting up a Zone the User will be presented with a map of the country displaying where each Device associated with their Organisation is installed. The User will select a minimum of three points on the map creating a polygon shape. The area within the polygon will be highlighted and represents the area covered by the Zone. The colour used to highlight the area can be changed.
All Devices that fall within the selected area will be included in the Zone. When a Zone is assigned to a Schedule, Devices included in the Zone will be able to be applied to that Schedule.
