Exception Codes
In some situations, an Agent may be unable to execute an Instruction. In such a situation, the Agent submits an Exception to inform the Contractor or Utility as to why the Instruction was not completed.
Some Exceptions may still qualify for payment. Exception Codes need to be configured on the Field Manager System to deal with such situations. Exception Codes need to be unique within the context of the Utility.
The Utility configures a list of the Exception Code Groups and within each Exception Code Group the Exception Code is configured as follows:
- Select one or more Utility types.
- Select one or more Instruction types.
- State whether a photo or note is required and whether the Exception Code qualifies for an Agent Payout.
