Manufacturers produce different types of Meters. The different types of Meters are what is meant by the Meter Model. Most of the time a Model has a unique identifier being a unique Model number.  Devices with the same Model number share the same Inherent Attributes. Models have manuals and a guarantee period. Where possible it is recommended to detail the Manufacturer Models.
