Manager
The Manager relationship is designed to emulate the situation when one Organisation (the Manager) manages the utilities of another Organisation (the Managed). An example of this would be a Managing Agent managing a Body Corporate.
Linking
Linking is always by invitation.
- The invitation can be sent by either the Manager Organisation or the Managed Organisation.
This implies that the sender of the invitation is a Registered Organisation. - The invitation could be sent to a contact that is not a Registered Organisation or to a Registered Organisation.
- When the invitation is sent to a Registered Organisation, the linking between the two Organisations occurs when the Organisation that receives the invitation accepts it.
- When the invitation is sent to a contact that is not a Registered Organisation, the contact needs to register first and then accept the invitation.
Delinking
- A Manager Organisation can de-link from a Managed Organisation.
- A Managed Organisation can de-link from a Manager Organisation.
User Access
- Users in the Manager Organisation can be given access to the Managed Organisation.
- Users in the Managed Organisation cannot be given access to the Manager Organisation.
