Locale

Includes Country, Time Zones, Currency; Language and indicates whether the utilities are measured using the metric system or the non-metric system.

The indication of the metric or non-metric measurement is standard throughout the Organisation.

• If the measurement standard is metric, then water is measured in Kiloliters, and gas is measured in Kilojoules.
• If the measurement standard is non-metric, then water and gas are measured in Gallons.

Currently the WeBill system:

• Does not support converting metric measurements into non-metric measurements, and vice versa.
• The Locale is set up for South Africa.
