Allocations

A transfer of funds from a Wallet to a Device or Bill. Allocations are allowed up to and cannot exceed the Wallet balance. On a successful Allocation, the Wallet amount is reduced by the amount of the Allocation.

On Allocation to a Meter, the funds allocated will appear as an Allocation with the Organisation that owns the Meter. These Allocations appear in the Organisations’ financial reports. 

Funds cannot be transferred from one Device to another Device, even if the Devices are registered with the same Organisation.
